Byron Cragg began his diverse career in 2002 by being drafted to the Philadelphia Phillies as a pitcher right out of highschool. Byron ended his baseball career in 2004 at which time he pursued school and graduated from Truckee Meadows Community College with an Associates degree in General Education.
With interests in public security and first responder sector, Byron elected to become a Law Enforcement Officer in 2007 in which he specialized in an undercover unit which had the primary focus of apprehending violent and highly wanted Offenders. Throughout his Law enforcement career Byron would also become a certified lead defensive tactics instructor for the Northern Nevada Law Enforcement Academy, and the lead of the Officer Wellness Program for the Reno Police Department
During his time as a Law enforcement Officer, Byron became a black belt in brazilian Jiu Jitsu and made his MMA debut in 2013 where he would compete professionally for several years. Byron would continue to fight professionally in the MMA sector and in turn would open several MMA training gyms throughout the west coast which specialized in Brazilian Jiu Jitzu, Personal Defense, MMA and youth training.
