JERRY HALLERT

Jerry Hallert began his professional career as a secondary education teacher after earning his bachelor’s degree in Human Ecology from the University of Nevada Reno. In 2004, Jerry decided to enter the private sector where he managed/owned several restaurants. 

In 2008, Jerry decided to enter the Law Enforcement profession. Entering the police academy with 4  years of bjj experience gave Jerry unique insight into the dynamics of police use of force training and application. In 2009, Jerry was named the lead defensive tactics instructor for his department and he is currently a police Lieutenant running a regional specialty unit and a 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under world champion Marcos Torregrosa.

Jerry brings a unique aspect and understanding of different modalities of training because of his vast professional experiences.
